Derived from Embraer's ERJ 145, the Legacy program was first introduced at the Farnborough Air Show in 2000. In flight, the spacious 3-zoned cabin provides passengers with the ability to relax in an environment suited to them. Pilots enjoy the cockpit automation and instrumentation, including a safety enhancing HUD allowing full Category III ILS operations.

Capable of carrying 16 passengers 3,250nm at its service ceiling of 41,000 feet, the affectionately named Jungle Jet provides an excellent cost/benefit ratio.
